Suzuki Two-wheelers bagged the award for ‘Best Integrated Campaign of the Year’ at NDTV Car and Bike Awards on December 26, 2012. Ms Anu Anamika, National Head – Mktg, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) and Sunil Kukreti, Senior Partner, R K Swamy BBDO, creative agency for Suzuki Hayate campaign were present to collect the award. This award category was designed to focus on innovative concepts that were explored beyond one media platform.

Suzuki two-wheelers worked with R K Swamy BBDO across various platforms to promote its mass market motorcycle, the Hayate. The inception of the campaign was with the TVC for which Salman donned his famous Chulbul Pandey avatar. The advertising campaign extended across mediums including television, cinema, radio, print, web portals and in-house activities. Suzuki designed special promotional offers around Salman Khan starring ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Dabangg 2’, teaming them with in-film advertising. Other avenues such as co-branded promotions, tie-up with Indian Idol, Facebook contests and festival season campaigns were also explored. Suzuki two-wheelers continuously engaged the audience through special consumer engagement programs, which involved demo vans and special campaigns run by dealers at the ground level.
